Bear Add on for Elk Hunt: Add a bear harvest to your elk hunt for $1000. We had one hunter that killed a beautiful 6ft 6in 500lb black bear. If a hunter decides to purchase a bear tag ($260.00), he or she can kill a bear for a trophy fee of $1000.00. No kill no pay. Our unit bear hunt works on a quota system once the quota is met the season closes. In the previous season our hunters had seen a total of seven bears with two being color phase. Bears can be taken in the archery season as well as muzzleloader.
